Listed below are the mechanics that I personally worked on.
Item Pickup System
Upon pressing the Q key, the player picks up the item in front of them.
Enemy Patrol and Chase
The enemy patrols between 2 points. Once the player enters its range, the enemy pursues the player.
Gameplay Transition
Once the player picks up a certain number of items, a transition is triggered that switches the gameplay from a scavenger hunt to a race against the clock. Exterior lights fade, and an audio cue takes place.
